    Born from a dream, Kaigan Brewery is the result of passionate enthusiasts whose ambition is to brew exceptional beers and share them with the world. From their unique base in a beautifully renovated 1898 kominka in Chiba's Minamiboso area, they are now bringing these carefully crafted brews to all beer lovers.
    夢から生まれた海岸醸造所は、卓越したビールを醸造し、世界と共有するという野望を持つ情熱的な醸造家たちの結集です。千葉県南房総市にある、1898年築の古民家を美しく改装したユニークな醸造所から、彼らは今、丁寧に醸造されたビールをすべてのビール愛好家にお届けしています。

For us, brewing is a craft of passion and responsibility, shared in every beer we produce. 海岸醸造所のビール造りは、私たちの価値観そのものです。何よりも最高の品質を追求し、南房総の自然と調和したサステナブルな醸造を心がけています。その名の通り海をきれいに保つ活動や、地元の事業者と連携した地域コミュニティ支援も重要な使命です（事業計画では千葉県内の道の駅等も販売対象 ）。情熱と責任を込めた一杯を、皆様にお届けします

    The heart of Kaigan Brewery is a strong friendship between two French enthusiasts. Head Brewer Mehdy is our creative force, passionately pursuing innovative flavors, especially in sour and wild-fermented beers. Bringing balance is Brew Master and Manager Philippe, whose years of experience ensure passion is paired with precision. Philippe’s focus on order allows Mehdy’s creativity to flourish, creating a perfect synergy. This fusion of wild creativity and structured expertise is the magic behind every innovative and impeccably crafted Kaigan Brewery beer. Guess who is who ;-) 海岸醸造所の原動力は、フランス出身の二人の固い友情とビールへの情熱です。ヘッドブルワーのメヂは、サワービール等を愛する創造の担い手 。彼の風味への飽くなき探求心が、私たちの革新を生み出します。その情熱に秩序と精密さをもたらすのが、ブルワーマスター兼統括責任者のフィリップです 。長年の経験で現場を支え、メヂの創造性を最大限に引き出します。この奔放な創造性と体系的な専門知識の融合こそが、革新的で高品質な海岸醸造所のビールを生み出す魔法なのです。誰は誰でしょうか ;-)

  • The Building

    建物

    Kaigan Brewery came to life from a typical japanese kominka that was once built in 1898. Located in the Minamiboso area of Chiba prefecture, the brewery stands a few hundreds meters away from the ocean, surrounded by rice fileds and bamboo forests. After being renovated in 2021, the kura adjacent to the main house is now housing the brewery equipment and all necessary ingredients for our brews.
